Gourmet Burgers At Fast Food Prices

There’s no shortage of good places to satisfy your burger cravings in Tokyo, but they can be pricey. The 3rd Burger hits a sweet spot with its high quality burgers at affordable prices. What’s impressive is that despite being wallet friendly, everything is made from scratch, from the soft, tasty buns that are baked in-house to the fresh-ground 100% Aussie beef patties.

These things are addictive. Like a can of Pringles, once you pop you can’t stop. Good luck stopping at one – two is satisfying, but the third burger is a charm. Maybe that’s where the name comes from.

Fancy burgers like cherry and cream cheese are nice to have on occasion, but for me it’s all about the basics, and that’s where The Third Burger shines. It costs only a little more than say, Burger King, but the difference in quality is stark. I only wish they had an outlet near my apartment!

We recommend getting the smoothie set – hot crispy fries and a refreshing smoothie of your choice (our favorite is banana). They’re fantastic with the burgers. There’s beer too, of course. The ambience is nice enough. It feels like you’re secretly sitting in a rich person’s manicured garden porch, munching his food and slugging his beer, minus the getting arrested part.
